Daffodil International University observed its 10th Foundation Day and Foundation Stone Laying Ceremony of permanent campus at Ashulia on Thursday, February 10, 2011. -------------------------------------------
A Grand Ceremony was held at DIU to distribute free Laptops among the students on 16th July 2011 through a sparkling program. Mr. Nurul Islam Nahid MP, Honorable Education Minister, Ministry of Education, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh was present and gave his speech as the Chief Guest while Mr. Md. Sabur Khan, Honorable Chairman, BoT, DIU presided over the occasion.

The Department of English of DIU organized Fresher’s Reception and Farewell program at DIU Auditorium on 27th February 2011, where the foreign students uphold their own caste, creed and cultural heritage through traditional dance.
