As the new millennium has approached, Bangladeshi universities face a dilemma. On one hand, there is local demand for developing mass training institutions to serve national needs. But, on the other hand, global pressures exist partly based on rapidly developing technologies to operate at an international level. DIU is continuously strengthening and developing the approaches and techniques of teaching materials and methods to overcome the dilemma.
