Bachelor of Real Estate (BRE):
The Department of Real Estate (DRE) at Daffodil International University is the first department in Bangladesh to offer a four-year undergraduate program in Real Estate (Bachelor of Real Estate) with majors in Marketing, Finance & Banking, and Land Management.
The department aims to produce qualified and skilled graduates to meet the growing demand for realtors in the real estate sector and related industries. The department has had a 100% placement record for its graduates since the first batch in 2012, and graduates work in various private and public sectors in Bangladesh, including real estate companies, banks, and government organizations. The department maintains a strong industry-academia relationship, and the curriculum is continually updated to incorporate contemporary issues in the real estate industry. The department is run by qualified full-time and part-time faculty members including industry experts. Students get internship opportunities, corporate mentorship, and project-based work experience from their second year of study. The Master of Real Estate program has already been approved, and the department is awaiting final approval from the University Grants Commission (UGC). Established on February 4, 2008, the Department of Real Estate (DRE) is a unique addition to Daffodil International University, located at the largest green campus among all private universities in Bangladesh, Ashulia, Dhaka.
This department follows a global standard course curriculum which is updated from time to time to incorporate the contemporary real estate industry issues. Presently the department is nurturing a handsome number of students under the guardianship of Professor Dr. Mohammed Masum Iqbal, Dean, Faculty of Business & Entrepreneurship, and Professor Dr. Mostafa Kamal, Adviser, Department of Real Estate. The Department of Real Estate (DRE) has a good team consisting of well-experienced faculty members with local and global exposure where Dr. Amir Ahmed, Assistant Professor plays the role of the Head of the department.
