Daffodil International University Donated Computers for Disabled People

 

To empower people with disabilities and provide IT training facilities and use of modern technology for the blind students and make them skilled in IT education Daffodil International University (DIU) donated two computers to Blind Education and Rehabilitation Development Organization (BERDO) today on 17th September 2012 at DIU Conference Room. Mr. Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman, Board of Trustees, Daffodil International University handed over the computers to Md. Saidul Haque, Executive Director BERDO in a simple ceremony. Prof. Dr. M. Lutfar Rahman, Vice Chancellor, of DIU and Md. Shahidullah, Manager, BERDO were present during handing over the computers. Daffodil International University will also provide IT support service to the organization time to time.
The people with disabilities were able to receive IT training facilities and could use the modern technology for shaping up their career.
The blind students also got opportunity to be skilled in IT education through this initiative.
